This 1099 contract position involves delivering therapy and administrative duties for a caseload of 35-40 students, primarily focusing on articulation and language goals. Most students are verbal, allowing for a consistent therapy approach centered on communication enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Provide direct speech therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms
- Manage Medicaid billing and maintain accurate documentation using the Cleartrack program
- Collaborate virtually with educational teams to support student progress
Qualifications
- Valid New York State SLP license
- TSSLD certification
- Experience with Medicaid billing processes and the Cleartrack program
- Strong background working with K-12 student populations, particularly in articulation and language goal areas
